Refund Policy 2011
Please be aware there is a $25 non-refundable fee. This money is committed before the first day of practice to cover your swimmer's insurance, t-shirt, swim cap, and other administrative costs.
You may be eligible for a refund of some portion of your registration fees if your swimmer withdraws from the team prior to the end of the 10th day of practice. You may also be eligible for an additional partial refund if you procured sponsorship donations.
Refund application forms are available. Place your completed refund application form in the Board President folder located at the Williams Drive pool. You can also mail it to GSSA, P.O. Box 1514, Georgetown, Texas 78627; or email it to president@aquadillos.com.
If you submit a refund application and are eligible for a refund, the refund will be mailed to you within two weeks after you submit your application (or refunded to your Paypal account if you paid via Paypal and you check the Paypal refund option on the form). If you submit a refund application, but are not eligible for a refund, you will receive an email or phone call from a board member.
Conditions for a Refund
- Paid registration fees (minus a $25 administrative fee that covers swimmer insurance and processing fees) are refundable to a swimmer who withdraws from the team on or before the last day of the 2nd week of the team's scheduled swim practice (or the 10th day of scheduled practice).
- If your swimmer is not able to participate on the swim team because of safety concerns expressed by the coach, you are eligible for a refund of the registration fees (minus a $25 administrative fee that covers swimmer insurance and processing fees).
- If your swimmer attends any swim practice after the 2nd week of the team's scheduled swim practice, you will not be eligible for a refund of any amount.
- If you are responsible for procuring sponsorship donations, you will be entitled to a refund of a portion of your registration fees as outlined on the sponsorship form (with the exception of the $25 administrative fee).
- If you do not submit your refund application prior to the 3rd swim meet, you will not be eligible for a refund of any amount.
